Talks at this conferenceAdd a talk
The Scottish Church History Society’s autumn conference will take place in the Edinburgh Theological Seminary on Saturday 3 November 2018.
We are delighted to announce that our keynote speaker will be Professor Elizabeth Ewan (University of Guelph), who will be speaking on ‘Did Scottish women have a Reformation?’
We welcome proposals for twenty-minute papers on the conference theme (Women and the Church) from postgraduate students, early career researchers, and independent or established scholars. No one period will receive precedence; proposals will be assessed according to their novelty and appeal. Interdisciplinary approaches are also encouraged – art, economic, gender, literary, legal, political, and social historians are welcome to apply.
Abstracts of no more than 250 words and a short biographical note should be directed to the Society’s secretary at firstname.lastname@example.org by 2 September 2018.
Tickets can be booked through eventbrite. The cost of tickets - including a lunch - has been heavily subsidised by the Society.
