Early Archives in Practice is a two day symposium, run by Queen Mary University of London in conjunction with the University’s Centre for Early Modern Mapping, News, and Networks. The symposium will offer participants a range of practical talks and workshops, and provide a platform to consider the role of archival research in medieval and early modern research today. It will consist of both panel discussions from participants as well as relevant workshops on archival practice and palaeography. We will introduce speakers from a range of archives to discuss their collections and research, including the National Archives, Oxford University, Marsh’s Library, and Lambeth Palace Archives.
