CFP: Scottish Church History Society Spring Conference
Submission deadline: January 28, 2018
March 17, 2018
Glasgow, United Kingdom
Our second spring conference will take place on Saturday 17 March 2018 in Glasgow (venue tbc). We are delighted that Glasgow University's Professor Charlotte Methuen will be sharing her research on the Reformation in Orkney, Shetland and Norway as our keynote speaker.
Our 2018 conference welcomes proposals for twenty-minute papers on any aspect of Scottish church history from postgraduate students, early career researchers and established scholars. No one period or topic will receive precedence; proposals will be assessed according to their novelty and appeal. Interdisciplinary approaches are also encouraged - art, economic, gender, literary, legal, political, and social historians are welcome to apply. Abstracts of no more than 250 words and a short biographical note should be directed to the Society’s secretary, Dr Laura Mair, at firstname.lastname@example.org by Sunday 28 January 2018.
