Details

The summer school is designed to engage postgraduate students and independent scholars in the field of Italian Studies to share their research and test their ideas. Participants will present their papers in panel sessions and then receive feedback from senior scholars and junior colleagues in a welcoming and supportive environment.

The summer school program includes two keynote lectures and a training session:

Keynote speakers: 

• Dr. Clodagh Brook (University of Birmingham) ‘Exploding the Cinematic Frame: Expanded Cinema in Italy’

• Prof. Robert S. C. Gordon (University of Cambridge) ‘Adano and Occupation Literature’

Training session: 

• Dr Olivia Swift (Royal Holloway) Workshop: ‘The impact of research’
