Talks at this conferenceAdd a talk
The Waterways History Conference is open to RCHS members and non-members alike – the only qualification is to be interested in the history of the waterways.
The aim of this conference is to attract more people to undertake, and publish, research into the history of the waterways, whether in this country or overseas and whether privately or through a university.
So there will be a very general opening session, then sessions dedicated to the waterways themselves; the day will include a general discussion looking ahead to how waterways-related research might now develop and providing something of a plan for that development. Members and non-members alike are invited to come and enjoy the presentations, but also contribute to an important debate.
Booking form and updated programme are available from the RCHS website or will be passed by e-mail as above. Charge for attending £22, including lunch – pay by BACS or cheque.
