We invite all those researchers who want to participate to submit paper proposals according to the main themes of the Conference:

1. Spanish Civil War in the international context.

2. Political mobilization, collective action and political violence.

3. Culture and education.

4. Daily life, working life and leisure time.

5. Nationalisms, national and regional identities.

6. The memory of the Spanish Civil War.

Papers shall conform to the following criteria:

a) Papers will be accepted in any of the Spanish official languages as well as English, Italian, French and Portuguese.

b) Paper proposals shall be sent to the Organizing Committee until January 15, 2017, to the following email: congreso.valencia.guerra@gmail.com.

c) The proposals should include the title of the paper, a summary of less than 300 words and some personal data: name, email, address, professional status and research institution.

d) The Conference organization will communicate by email the acceptance or not of the proposals received from 31 January 2017 onwards.

e) Written papers will be sent to the email mentioned above through an attached text in Word or compatible format before September 15, 2017, in order to be shared among all participants and thus foster debates in the Conference sessions. Style guidelines will be communicated by email. After the Conference, a time frame will be set in order to correct the text before its final publication.

f) The maximum length of each communication will be 7,000 words, including tables, graphics, footnotes and bibliography.
